TOWNSEND & JONES, L.L.P. |
|
|
This
is the January 2012 version of Jack Townsend's pdf
book. Earlier versions of this text were formerly used for the course
in Tax Fraud and Money Laundering that Jack and Larry Campagna teach at the University
of Houston Law School. For a description of the class, click here.
Jack and Larry now use a published text, Townsend,
Campagna, Johnson & Schumacher, Tax Crimes
(Lexis-Nexis 2008). That published text is more suitable for a law
class in Tax Crimes. Jack continues, however, to update his pdf text and makes available the current version for
download by clicking on the appropriate link in the left column. Readers should check the Errata page from time to time. |

This
file is the 2011 version of Jack Townsend's text for his Tax Procedure class
at the University of Houston Law School. For a description of that
class, click here. This version contains
discussions and references cases and other developments through 8/15/11. This
is a version without footnotes, since the footnotes are not needed for the
class and might be a distraction. For the footnoted version, see below. |

These
files are footnoted and endnoted versions of the
2011 version (edited through 8/1511). I do not recommend these editions
for my UH Law School students, since the footnotes / endnotes can be
distracting. However, practitioners and others having a need to go
beyond the text might find one of these files useful. |
